Responsibilities:
Android Developer
Innovez has an immediate opening for a Android developer who will help develop a community centric application in the higher education sector on the Android platform. The position will have the added benefit of working with a dynamic, and worldwide teams located in United Kingdom, Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia.
Responsibilities:
- To architect, design and develop high-quality Android applications
- Experience in modifying Android Framework codes to fit the requirements for tablet and mobile phone.
- Modifying the system level services and developing new APIs.
Requirements:
- A passion for mobile device technologies especially Android
- Strong design and development skills client-side Java, and preferably in the Android 2.x SDK.
- Experience in threading, security, distributed architectures and mobile applications a strong advantage.
- Experience in Agile methodologies
- Experience in Windows technologies, Cloud computing is an advantage
- Degree in an IT-related field is preferred.
Additional qualifications ( "nice to have") include :
- Experience with OpenGL
- Experience in developing Location Based Services
- Experience in game development
- Basic knowledge of major mobile platforms ( iOS, Symbian, BlackBerryOS )
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): Web Services, Java, Web Design.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
